Okey dokey. Something diffrent. Post youtube clips of your favourate scenes in a game, share with us! And explain alittle why its so -damn- awesome. And yes this thread will contain spoilers. Ill start off. Assult of the silver dragons - FF9 www.youtube.com/watch?v=-MqtmQ7EvUUwhats NOT to like? Awesome music, airships. Guns and battle, The good guys npcs pasting enemies the whole shibbang. Suikoden 5 - Queens Coup. www.youtube.com/watch?v=9oPI9HXWdVIWhat made this powerful was the fact the Queen was your pc's mother, and was a caring character and like a security blanket in a world where -everyone- is untrustworthy. The voiceacting alone was great.

There was a cool scene in Baldur's Gate 2 after you finished installing it. It showed this neat little movie:

I can see quite a few VFXs in that video that look like they didn't make the final cut. I think I saw a Baldur's Gate version of Magic Missile, too. A shame, really, that'd look better than the current one if refined. :<

Yea, in 2nd edition DnD magic missiles are describes as red balls, while in 3rd edition they are described as blue sparkly shards of the ethereal plane or something. I do think the 2nd edition missiles from Baldur's Gate look cooler. You can also see a bitchin' crystal sword one character is holding in that video, as well as a spell effect that looks like a guy is shrouded in flame, and what looks like an early Bull's Strength spell. That trailer is from 2000, about 2 years before the game came out, and even before that NWN had been under production for a long time.
