Over the course of two days, a murderer has been attacking and killing citizens in the Market Square area. Originally, his blood bath started in the Macabre Apartment complex, where he murdered three Guardes, one civilian, and several others attempting to stop him. The murderer managed to escape capture at the Macabre Apartments, however, and was unable to be apprehended by Guardes.
Later, the same murderer struck at the Black Cat Diner, where he was stalled by a group of Diner patrons long enough for the Guarde to successfully blockade and capture the suspect. His identity is currently unknown to the public, but word has slipped that his identity has shaken the foundations of the Rangers. An execution date has yet to be assigned, leading to some speculation.
In other news, word has slipped from the Inquisition that the popular drink "Blood Brew" might be responsible for a series of violent actions and crimes committed against denizens of the Port, which has lead to an investigation. Some speculate that the Macabre Mass Murderer's series of brutal actions were influenced by said drink.
