The Cult of Khaos
The Cult of Khaos has moved underground, avoiding direct interaction with their enemies. The Cult operates in secret, funding criminal organizations and secretly undermining the Empire. The forces of Khaos follow a Lord, and while there used to be many now only a handful exist to command their forces. As for organization the Cult uses a sort of buffer system. Local adventurers are used as free agents to perform missions for the Cult. The vast majority of simple labor is performed by Cultists, who are totally devoted to Khaos due to routine exposure to The Ruinious Powers. The inner circle is made up of the Khaos Lords, and their closest aids who enjoy free will like outer agents.
Operations
The Cult is currently operating several "front" businesses that serve darker purposes. A meat packing shoppe, for example, is used to dispose of bodies. Cultists are slowly building up reputuation within the Empire. Everyone from a beggar seen on the street, a merchant, a Guardesman, even Nobles and possibly government officials are now serving the Cult. Each has on them a ring baring the symbol of Khaos.
Military structure
Cultist - The vast poorly armed hordes called to action, they will act like a mob of angry villagers armed with whatever is nearby when the call of war is sent out
Daemonhosts - Cultists who's body host foul Daemons, and use ruinous magicks to aid their comrades
Skirmirshers - Ranged specialists that are professional soldiers, generally made up of Cultists with military experience. They also tend to be armed with pikes to deal with calvary.
Champions - The backbone of the Cult, elite warriors in heavy armor that lead squads of Cultists.
Daemonspawn - Daemons summoned by mages and used to wreak destruction upon the bodies and minds of enemies
Sorcerers - Mages who harness magic to aid in the battle effort, and perform ritualistic magics to more subtly manipulate events
The Lords - The top commanders of Khaos, who have various command chains depending on their style.
