hi my name is Brian and I like this band called Blind Guardian and I think you might like them too!!!

if you're like me you're a huge fantasy nerd (you're playing NWN you're probably a huge fantasy nerd) and so you would probably like Blind Guardian!

why?

well because they have songs that sound like this:


wow how fantastical its like something a bunch of bards from Forgotten Realms would get together and rock out to in a tavern somewhere while everyone got really drunk off of ale

but they also make songs that sound like this


holy shit what a cool song!!!! it's so metal!!!

and their old stuff is all thrashy and old school


and they did an entire album about that book by J.R.R Tolkien called Nightfall in Middle Earth that you should listen to because its one of the best power-metal albums ever


I basically only listened to power metal when I was in high school and I grew out of it but I still really really really like Blind Guardian and I think you all would as well!!

also im pretty sure most of you have heard of this band they aren't exactly indie but I made a thread anyways

their new album is really good, it's like a huge medley of all their different styles throughout their lifetime. it really owns.
