Appearance: Often quiet and calm, Eva is always watching the world – studying it, so it seems. She wears only simple robes, and her long hair is covered by her hood, though silver strands hang down from time to time showing her age.

History::
Eva rarely mentions her background, due to the nature of her Order. The Order of Berkana seeks complete and utter transformation, renewal, and rebirth. Thus, monks of this Order do not dwell on their lives before they joined, some even forgetting completely. Eva remembers little of her childhood; only images of a forest filled with birch trees and lavender flowers, a kind mother, a disciplined father, and a younger brother. She cannot recall their names, it has been so long since she's tried, but their faces remain in her mind to this day.
Eva joined the Order when she was 16, one of the youngest in the Order's history. She quickly became well known for her insights regarding nature. She underwent the Renewal at age 28 on the elemental plane of Earth and after left the Home and simply traveled, keeping few material possessions. The Empire is but one of the many places she's traveled and stays only because she feels compelled.

The Renewal::
This a a ritual that all monks of the Order of Berkana must undergo before they can leave the Home. It involves transcendence of the body in a state of meditation on one of the four elemental planes (the decision of which plane is based on the nature of the monk). When this state is reached, an Elemental friendly to the Order gives the monk a small gem carved with the symbol of the Order to take back as proof of his/her accomplishment.
