Physical Description
A black hood usually masks the majority of her face, only showing pink lips which always hold a little smirk, and a scarred chin. If she ever decided to lower her hood, the off-colored brown of her hair would be the first thing most people would notice. A strange tint clings to it and several beads and feathers hang from her locks at odd angles. The second thing one would notice is her green eyes, they stand out from her darker complexion and are framed by long lashes. A nose broken one too many times and a thick scar on one of her cheeks is one of the last things people comment on.
To most, she looks more Elvish than Half-Elvish, as her ears are more pointed than most half-elves and her face just a bit more angular. Her slightly baggy clothes cover her lithe form and her low cut shirt is the only thing that reveals the majority of her skin. Bracelets chink together as she walks, each with a different size, color and each with a story of how they were acquired. A black choker, which she's never seen without, drips small black beads, just barely hanging from a thin thread. A longer, colorful necklace also decorates her neck, dark beads and small jems adorning it in strange patterns. The only thing about her outfit that hints at her being dangerous or an adventurer, is the plate boots that cover her shins.
She fidgets about as she does everything, never seeming to stand still or relax, grabbing at the bagginess of her pants, sliding the bracelets on her arms up and down or twirling her necklace on her fingers. Even when standing completely still, she looks as if she's about to bolt.
Personality Overview
It's hard to tell exactly what Circe's thinking or planning, but most people don't doubt her supposed insanity. At times she says bizarre, slightly evil things that hint at her evil nature and may (or may not) give a glimpse into her mind. One moment Circe could be killing children, the next you could swear that she was the nicest soul you've ever met.
Biography
Circe grew up more than a little wealthy in Athkatla, Amn. Her father, Ellis, was a wealthy merchant, giving his daughters everything their small hearts desired...and some things they didn't. It would be a lie to say that Ellis was much more sane than Circe seems to be today. And his frequents to suspicious bars and grimy houses never did help his "moods." In any case, they made him worse. Violence and vulgarity seemed to be the only things he knew at home. Another lie would be that Circe's scarred chin was an accident from her darling father. Luckily enough for the girls, and unluckily enough for Ellis, he had a tendency towards violent outbursts outside the home. This, most think, is why he was found murdered in an alley not far from the bar he wasted much of his life.
Needless to say, the family was cut from their usual money supply and what money they did have went quickly. It really wasn't long before the smaller LeBlanc household had relocated to the slums and Vera had taken to the only thing she found she was good at, excelled at, perhaps - prostitution and lying. She drugged some men that visited her, making sure they had no connections that would come looking for them, and selling them to a slaver. She made a tidy profit because of this. As many illegal things go, this seemed to last for a while. Still, all the years of drugging and selling made her bolder, more confident and that was her downfall. Her execution was swift, the government had wanted to make a point. Her daughters stood so closely at her execution that their mother's blood was splattered on them.
Now tragically left along in the world, Viatrix, the youngest, dabbled in thievery, Phoenix, the oldest, joined some type of mercenary branch and Felix dabbled in assassination and smuggling. Their lives wandered aimlessly in Athkatla for a while, digging their lives deeper into evil...until Viatrix was caught stealing some platinum out of a merchant's home and sentenced to death. It was then that Phoenix and Felix made a pact to stick together and never see Athkatla again. Athkatla and the past had only held death and the future held hope. Sadly, as many situations like these go, they found none.
