Meh, it's not a big rule that'll cause any trouble so I'd say go for it. I know what you're getting out with damn being okay but fuck not...the first is a swear that could fit in the setting while the latter has a more modern origin.

Anyway, don't except my chars beyond maybe Cinos if I use him to swear beyond 'damn'. The rest are fairly clean.

If you are allowed to cut people to pieces with swords, stab people in the spine with daggers, light people on fire with spells, explode people into bloody messes with Destruction and generally just murder each other with brutal medieval weaponry, you are allowed to say a few naughty words while doing so.

If you want to make up your own IC swear words, go ahead, in fact I'd encourage it, but I don't think it really matters. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense to have characters speaking modern English yet mysteriously unaware of all modern English swear words.

I agree. We make a lot of modern references so what's so wrong with the swearing? Also, I highly doubt people say fuck like crazy on the server.

The rule just seems silly and valueless. If it is imposed, I'm saying this now, I will blatantly disregard it.
