I have no money, and thus do not own the computer capable of running it.

I dunno the toolset was the best part of NWN2. It's the rest of the game that was lacking. I gave it a try and tried to like it but eventually gave up on that after Mask of the Betrayer. MoTB had a kick ass single player campaign with the best storyline in a DnD game since Planescape: Torment but everything else was just crap aside from maybe the crafting system and the Epic Spell called "Mass Fowl"
The game is butt ugly, has incredibly high system requirements for such an ugly game, has terrible animations and I'm really not too fond of most of the the rule changes. Also it didn't improve upon anything substantial about the original NWN, which is really the whole point of a sequel, and it just felt dated, boring and limited compared to other games at the time. It just added a bunch of terrible, useless prestige classes that one ever used.
It wasn't very well received by the community or gamers in general either, if you look at the Gamespy stats about 5x as many people will be playing NWN compared to NWN2 at the same time.

The saddest part was that the devs were actually lazy enough to recycle content from NWN 1. The music anyone? While I still like the music, you'd expect the sequel to have something new.

It has dwindled away into the unknown...the same way Starcraft 2 has yet to surface after having entered Korea. >_> They're loading it in their nukes as a distraction.

Yeah, I have it, too. All expansions. SoZ blew balls. MotB was pretty good...the original campaign was eeehh and horribly, mindnumbingly long.
Imo, it's too much of a hassle to play online with Nwn2. <3 Nwn1 moar.

Yeah, the character creator is better but as Bri said, the game looks like poop. ]: And all the heads are ugly as butt.

all the characters in the game looked like poser models and all the cool hand-drawn portraits were gone. also every single one of the faces was absolutely disgusting. NWN2 is like Oblivion in that it's one of the few video games where people IRL on average actually look more attractive than what's being portrayed in the game
