I've been pondering making an optional custom music pack for the mod. A lot of other servers seem to be doing this as it's very, very easy to implement and completely optional. You wouldn't be required to download anything to play on the server, but you would be able to download some extra music files to hear some new tunes.
What does everyone think? Since to my knowledge there aren't currently any pressing issues or major bugs to be worked on, I figure I might as well throw this together to add a bit more flavor and atmosphere to the mod.
