I've heard about this, it's a pretty bad ass virus but I'm pretty sure tomorrow won't be a huge internet asplosion. It'll most likely just turn a shitload of infected computers into part of a botnet that the people behind it will sell off. The media likes to play up this Hollywood version of shady internet stuff, making these dudes look like badass hackers out for "cred" but in reality they just want money. It's all about the money now, it's why malware has gotten so robust these days, and you actually need an active anti virus now instead of just depending on your common sense to not download anything stupid.

Hackers stopped being "Internet superheros out to rid the world of pedos, and corrupt corporations" a long time ago. Brian is right, it's all about the money now.
