Yeah, I guess I was just kind of curious as to who here plays it, or played it. I downloaded the 10-day trial (mine ends Thursday; expect to see me online more after that) and had fun with the game. If only I could actually get a mount... Still, the fees are totally ridiculous.

I do =] got a link to my armory on my myspace. THe online fee is not bad, it could be worse 15 a month is not the end of the world, hell you could recycle cans and make like...$29 and use that to buy pre-paid game cards that give you 2 months "free"

So you pay the initial $50 for the game, then Blizzard says that you must pay $15 a month to keep playing the game because you'll continuously be getting new content. However, when they do actually come out with new content they charge you an extra $40 for an expansion pack.

Heh, want to transfer your character to another server, that's gonna be an extra fee... We're going to fix some bugs and add a new area and increase the level cap, if you want in on the action, it'll cost you $40. Sorry, the millions of dollars we rake in every month just doesn't cover such expenses like "maintaining the game." Here, come look at some more ads from our sponsors while you install it!
Thanks for your business, oh, and don't forgot to check out our upcoming Starcraft 2! Coming in all new Terran, Protoss and Zerg editions, retailing at only $59.99! If you want to play all three races in the campaign, you'll have to buy all three copies! Collect them all! (Wish I was joking about that last one)
