In a lot of neverwinter Nights server the population of humans was obviously always low. and I wanted to get a feel for why. Considering the fact humans are the most prolific young race in any fantasy setting yet their numbers are low when it comes to players.

I voted no, I don’t think they are boring…now don’t feel like this is bias because I am one. I feel they are a very interesting race regardless of the setting. Sure they do not have long lifespans, or have some grand ancient history. But I feel it is these “Flaws” that make them awesome.
For one they follow no set racial behavior and have no pre-molded personality that say sun elves or Gold Dwarves have. This scares the longer lived races like the elves who can be baffled when seeing how quick their mood and personality can change. Their short lifespan and quick reproduction can lead to large expansions simply in the name of wealth, land and power. Where as a kingdom of moon elves would simply feel content with what land, wealth and power they already hold.
They hold no pre-set racial affinity for any set class or trade allowing them to take up the mantle of the brave warrior, the intellectual wizard or the nurturing druid, they are able to adapt quickly to whatever the world seems to throw at them in a short time, an elf or a dwarf will find a human culture to change within their first century or two of life.
