First off: If you log on as a character after the server goes down or something, or seemingly just whenever you log on and end up in the starting area this happens: You get the base gold amount, again. This kind of ruins the player economy.
Also, speaking of eocnomy, how about we make it more critical. Food scripts requring the players to get food or starve to death could be added. I've seen them done on Zombie survivor servers.
Perhaps a blackmarket that deals in "illegal goods", the blackmarket would use "coins" bought by certain NPCs. These coins can be exchanged for items in lieu of using gold.
An example of a possible "blackmarket item"
Blackrose Powder: Cast spell: Blood Frenzy one charge/use (2 charges)
Perhaps also toll bridges/boats for getting around.
Maybe also limited amount of certain items in certain stores.

This kind of ruins the player economy. I'll take a look into it, I think I know what the issue is here but this should only be possible if the server crashes before you log out after making a new character. Also, speaking of eocnomy, how about we make it more critical. Food scripts requring the players to get food or starve to death could be added. I've seen them done on Zombie survivor servers. I'm personally no fan of being forced to eat in-game but if most of the player base wants it, it can go in. Perhaps a blackmarket that deals in "illegal goods", the blackmarket would use "coins" bought by certain NPCs. These coins can be exchanged for items in lieu of using gold. An example of a possible "blackmarket item" Blackrose Powder: Cast spell: Blood Frenzy one charge/use (2 charges) Perhaps also toll bridges/boats for getting around. Maybe also limited amount of certain items in certain stores. Aside from the Blackrose Powder, all of this is already done. But even then, there are blackmarket/rare item stores that sell crazy stuff. I do plan on expanding on this bit within the next update. As for the special coins, it wouldn't be possible unless you're speaking of something like the blackmarket guy in the bloodsailor tavern in the original campaign.

I was actually thinking of the Bloodsailor coin system.
