Appearance: Jasmine, though not very young, appears rather flexible and fit. Her arms and legs are adorned with intricate tattoos in red and gray – the ones on her arms also have outlines that look rather new, as if meant to be filled in to match the other markings. She dresses simply, though she sports what appears to be a bracelet made of small bone beads on her left wrist. There is a small scar near her collar bone, but she does not speaks openly to it origins.

History: Having the misfortune to be born into a poor family, Jasmine grew up in the slums. At an early age she was forced to panhandle and pickpocket out on the streets in attempts to survive. As she grew older, she became better at the arts of deception, trickery, and thievery. Word spread to the uppercrust that she could “steal the clothes off a mans back and he'd be none the wiser” as her friends put it. She began to work small jobs for the elite, careful not to give out her real name or let them see her face. Her exploits soon reached the ears of the Scelesta Troop – who specialize in assassinations and espionage rather then simple “arms for hire” as mercenaries do. Once admitted into their ranks, Jasmine received formal training and was bestowed the name “Shadowstar”. After many long years of service, and having become the Master of the Troop, Jasmine left as a result of some falling out between herself and the Grandmaster. Seeking refuge, she fled and ended up within the Province of Erodemius.

Scelesta Troop::
The Scelesta Troop specializes in the art of espionage. Members are often hired for intelligence gathering and/or assassinations. They are trained to complete their objectives by any means fitting and necessary. This can range from a quick cutting of a throat in the middle of the night to a year or two spent gaining information and infiltrating a target organization. Men and women alike are taught and expected to use any and every means to accomplish their goals be they physical, sexual, mental, or emotional. They are also expected to work in such a manner that they cannot be traced. All members are given Troop names, for the purpose of communication and secrecy. Though not all members are trained and hired as assassins, all must prove their worth to the Grandmaster by killing any target that he names for them.

“Shadowstar”: The name was given to her by the Grandmaster of the Scelesta Troop. He decided it was fitting do to her natural skills at hiding and acting – in his mind, it was an amusing melding of the two ideas.
