 Name: Tom Goodman Profession: Monk of the Even Path Age: 48 Height: 5'4 Weight: 120 lbs Appearance: Not at all threatning looking, or even interesting looking. This Monk holds himself with calm self-confidence gained through years of adventuring. He is slow to anger, slower to turn to violence but at times he will take sudden action if he deems it appropiate. His face is always hidden below a hood, his skin kept hidden from sight by a heavy robe. His hands are wrapped in ancient looking cloth. Despite his body's age he moves with utmost perfection when it does move, but most of the time he is busy meditating quietly. |

The failed Path
In Tom's younger years he was faced with a challenge, to take a bag of fourty thousand pedals and walk along on the Elemental Plane of Fire. This was part of the final rite of passage, the final challenge for a Monk of the Even Path. The Monk must walk along a trail of flower pedals in an extraplanar area that reflects what has limited his meditations so far. A Monk with a hot temper, like Tom once had, must wander along true flames. A Monk cold and apathetic must make his way across the coldest layer of Hell.
Tom failed, only making it about halfway before the heat nearly killed him, an unkown benefactor brought him back to the material plane.
Now Tom seeks to pass this final test, and figure out who saved him from a fiery death.
