Appearance:
Lyndon is almost 99% of the time in his armor cause of the conditions around him. His armor is worn, which indicates a possible military career previously in his life. While the armor itself seems to be of good quality, it's not quite the quality of a Knight's nor of a Soldier's. The emblem on his chest piece is faded but you can tell it didn't have any notable features to begin with, primarily just a pattern of light and dark blue lines.
Without his armor he normally will still be wearing chain-mail around to simply keep ready for threats. He has a decent amount of old scars in various places on his body, the majority of them hard to see at first glance. His face rarely changes expressions outside of normal or serious. His voice though may be more human than his facial expressions in tone but it rarely shifts into anger or most negative tones. His face itself can look fairly nice to rough if he forgets to wash up (which isn't uncommon).
Bio:
Origin:
Lyndon use to live far to the north, in a very isolated group of islands. Each island was competing for the last of the remaining untapped resources. These islands were far apart so each was very diverse with unique culture. Lyndon belonged to the most northern and chillest island, Litovsk. In this weather land he and his family tried to ignore the struggles of their surrounding world for their lumber business. Lyndon's father owned a decent sized company of lumberjacks. As a fairly well taken cared of person, Lyndon never had to worry, all he needed to think about was his parents, and his 2 siblings.
Lyndon had about 4 years worth of education from local teachers and became very respected among the kids of his town as the Reliable one. He was very good at assisting people and prioritizing and it seemed that he was on the same career path as his own father as the next owner of the lumberjack company. But during those 4 years the government was quiet and no one heard from their king. They had just went on their business uncaring. But at the capital the king was overthrown and a mass intellectual and political reform was occurring. The first sign of the government in 4 years came from an abrupt occupation of foot soldiers around the town. His father tried to reason with them and send them off...the response lead to the removal of their family.
While everyone went relatively unharmed, Lyndon and his siblings were dragged off to different places to never see each other again. His parents were imprisoned in the same jail they helped set up locally. This happened..but Lyndon never knew it did for the time, the trauma caused him to ignore the fate of his family, but occasionally the dreams sent by his conscience would remind him. His own fate though lead to military drafting to fight off the other islands and take their resources. By then he'd be about 10-11
Military Career:
His trip to the boot camp for military training caused him to deny there was nothing wrong...he tried to forcefully forget his past and his family in order to cope with his tragedy; in the end he still remembered but he wouldn't say he did. Under the new socialist system even the military changed. Everyday they were all punished for the mistake of the ones who refused to cooperate with the changes. By the end of the training they were all almost brainwashed and scattered, believing the system was right, including Lyndon.
Lyndon in one sense was lucky and another unlucky though. There was an illegal caravan traveling along side military movements serving drugs and alcohol to anyone who found them. One of the soldiers came back drunk and Lyndon had caught them. At first Lyndon was naturally about to turn in the man but he insisted Lyndon should also meet the caravan saying it was 'damn worth o'r two cen' a day!'. Lyndon bought not to much but it was a enough to hook him. While drinking he had this feeling of nostalgia hit him. His father and family came to mind again...he had bought the same wine they had drank with for dinner. Lyndon instead of getting really drunk had just gotten really sad. He had waken from his mental slumber and saw the world again. The caravan didn't like discouraged costumers so he offered a free one to try getting him drunk. Eventually he did, leading on to suffer for a couple years alcoholism.
But his joy ride on drinking couldn't last forever..when it was actually time for his squad to enter war the caravan couldn't make the trip to the other islands. He was about to killed in battle he thought. He knew he wasn't amazing, he had no magic, he only had basic weapon training and whatever he spent in his spare time to master the great sword, he knew he would be destroyed, he was just cannon fodder for the government. He had survived with no major injures though, the rest of his squad couldn't say the same. In his first battle the last attack was from a White Dragon, a feral and hunger driven one though, it was attracted by the fighting. It was large, but stealthy, his entire squad made a run but the dragon had wrecked and eaten every last one of them but him...he fell into a hole in the ground and survived; only cause the monster lost interest and began feeding on corpses. He'd go onto live more and more battles, often times being one of the only survivors in his squad.
Escaping Litovsk:
From that first battle one he was pent up with fear and hatred for his government, he didn't know what to expect from them but the typical fight lead to mass casualties and it seemed they didn't care. But he kept living every time, he questioned if it was a curse. He was soon given the honor of meeting the leader of the new socialist government with a small group of other soldiers who have survived. While they were simply shells of people wearing badges, Lyndon was trying to fight himself every second not to kill that man...he knew he wouldn't succeed. He decided to bind his time. He lived near the capital building for that short break he had for his honor. During this time he investigated on his family, he couldn't find anything. For some reason though, he thought he had enough evidence to prove his siblings were alive and had escaped...but that was not true...he denied it from his very core and believed his lie to motive himself to escape.
Now on his home island he eventually returns home with some soldiers to keep the town secure. He sneaked in and took in the place, comparing the past and present. Everything was a little bit darker, the snow wasn't as white, there was no sign of lumberjacks to be found. Lyndon went to the prison subconsciously. He looked inside and found corpses in a utility room. One was nearly a skeleton but without a head...Lyndon saw it's cloth and saw his father, imagine his death by a guillotine. His mother was in there to, with a knife through her skeleton, a possible suicide. Lyndon was enraged and without any escape from his emotions. He killed every guards in the jail and eventually executed a criminal before stopping, knowing they weren't the real villains, saving the rest to escape while he made a run for the woods. It was assumed Lyndon died in there with the guards.
He took a small boat and sailed off to get away from the islands in general. Eventually he would meet one of his first employers with his new career as a bodyguard; Mizuki, which lead him to unknowingly plane walk into the events of Frozen World.
Frozen World Events:
The Rise and Fall of Lymic:
Now working with Mizuki and other adventurers in this new world they'd quickly learn of Lymic, an Elder Evil sealed up by elves in the mountains to the north. Lymic was quickly breaking free, gaining power and turning people into alien Brood. If Lymic had succeeded in coming into the Prime World then the world was to become his, completely frozen and inhospitable for anyone. As someone who's lived in frozen conditions all his life this challenge to save the plane from Lymic's rise, Lyndon was a perfect candidate to gather what they needed to defeat him. With the help of the Goddess of Nature; Lyndon, Mizuki, Doctor Mathews, Zhendor, Avaria, and Alfira would reach the top of the mountain and slay Lymic as he rose into the Prime World, resealing him into the Far Realms. But Lymic's few minutes in the Prime World would drastically effect Lyndon's life from that point on.
Aftermath:
Lyndon continued to live at the fort near Ground Zero of the Lymic events, he'd gather any and all survivors to house them from the weather. While at first the priority was simply surviving the Raiders, Wolven, Giants, and so on; it eventually lead to more potential apocalypses; primarily stemming from the descent of the gods as they weakened. One of the gods was Matrius, unlike the others he was not becoming mortal, instead becoming a powerful Demon Lord, but still at the time had some God powers. His plan was to destroy the world by attempting to bring back Lymic but at the moment was unable to since Gods were unable to reach that mountain. It would again be Lyndon who had to counter the threat. With the help off another god, Avadline the Goddess of Death, Lyndon took Matrius's sword and slayed him. Unfortunately, he had to contact the Devils of Hell before finishing Matrius off which lead them to realize the descent of the gods. Once he had defeated Matrius, he had been infected with the divine powers which Matrius had, which nearly turned Lyndon into a god of Chaos and Barbarism. Fortunately he had succeed in removing these divine powers, though there would be still trace amounts left in him.
Now with Matrius defeated the Lord of the Hells started to enacted his plot to take the Prime World by making god-slaying constructs. In this time of combating this plot he'd meet Ashard and Skybasha which would try to stop Lyndon and use the powers of Matrius to fuel more god-slaying constructs. Eventually both were defeated when Ashard and Skybasha had tension between each other which lead to Ashard's demise and Skybasha eventually joining Lyndon's efforts in defeating the Lord of the Hells and becoming his best friend. Once the tides turned in favor of the gods; Lyndon and others would gain devil slaying weapons and eventually slay the Lord, allowing the gods to reascend.
Between the beginning of his war with the Lord of the Hells and shortly after the defeat of him, Lyndon would have a family, meeting his love April Gallowyn while rescuing her from a Demon Prince's temple. Lyndon's life actually seemed to be turning for the better, he had a family once again to care for, he officially owned the fort which he resided in, and he was to have a child soon. Unknown to them the child was infected by the trance essence of Matrius in Lyndon. She quickly came into birth and grew into a demoness, but was sanctified to become good since she actually had a soul. The family tried to stay together but it was no use, not only was the family torn on Alice's existence, the other survivors of the waste were. April would soon commit suicide but was revived as a Succubus for failing to resist her test to be revived properly. Shortly afterwards Alice was banished to the Abyss by a Gnoll who was helping Amberly in a conflict between herself and Alice. April already torn by Alice being a demon, her failing to raise her child, and now the child's death, fought Amberly but was destroyed.
Lyndon no longer had motive to help the people of the fort out, he essentially was betrayed by them for all the work he put into helping them. He soon abandoned all his responsibilities, not wishing to take revenge so much as mourn. Despite the calls for him to return he pushed them away. He only visited the others for the sake of Skybasha and Paville then. After 4 years of these events Lyndon would have recovered from his lost. He has now left the Frozen World, given up on his attempts to revive his loved one trying to make a new living for himself without the pressures of his importance to the world.
