I've come up with a quest!
In Faucel, there is an archeologic site, where a sicko scientist is making researches on a lost scepter from the old Lord of the Aurora Keep (I think it was the name... but you know, the big abandoned castle). That scientist finally finds the scepter but this one is possessed by the Lord himself, who hid his own soul in it to be able to live for eternity. That Lord of the Keep was a powerful wizard who knew ancient magic and could control earth, but it takes alot of energy. With this power, the posessed the scientist, made an underground castle, right under the abandoned castle. So the lord summons an army of Mudmen and all sorts of creatures from the ancient ages to retake his old territory and expend his power and culture. The players could start with the scientist, as he finds the scepter, then there is a large explosion as the reborn Lord tries to kill the players. Then he escapes and starts his plan. Then there in an alliance with the Khaos legions who got pwnt by the mudmen like damn hard, the Atra followers, Lux followers, Erodimus' people and they lose alot of fights, as the villages are invaded with mudmen and the Old Lord starts to regain power by hiring armies of mercenaries, warriors, wizards and such. It could end in many ways. Depends on how you want it to end. (Would be nice if the good guys were losing for a while, cause I'm bored of bad guys losing always. It would change). Maybe make old players who stopped playing NWN die in that event to make more Drama or an important character of the server who dies... Something really unexpected.

Rabbit, do you mean like put the d20 stuff into SotU? I think it would kill the medieval theme. Unless you only put things like old guns and such.

No, I mean there's only so much fun I can have at a d20 server. That's why I became interested in SotU again.
Putting d20 stuff into SotU would be silly

Okay, so! My head has been bustling with activity involving SotU for the past couple of days with regards to background, area development, encounters, content, and the plot itself. Here's the summary/direction of my thoughts...
First and above all on my list is SotU's background. Most of this is civilization additions, a world map, and some expansion on history and how the layers of hell work. There's quite a bit already down on "paper" but I feel as though it isn't enough. This makes for a stronger foundation for the lower, more interactive game play elements.
Second is the development of the plot itself on reflection of the background additions. With the addition of new civilizations comes people, groups, factions, and ideals. Not something far off from what we have now but in a different direction.
Area expansion & content is next. Classes specific to the ideals that people follow, and areas that harbor them. Port Revarine was intended to be a multicultural city, bustling with all kinds of activity which makes for an excellent opportunity to expand on.
Lastly, interactive elements is possibly the most important, yet inseparable, step here. This is the role the player takes in this world and his or her actions reflect upon it.
I'll give more details about what I have following this order later.

Talking about relics. There could be something big involving all the relics/artifacts that shows a message from the gods. Like a "neutral" god who became "evil" and took control of a civilization of humanoids on an other territory on the other side of the ocean. And the rebel god uses them to take over the Prime. It would involve everyone of every faction, exploration of new territories, new technology?
Oh and a god elected by..."The Creator" to make weapons able to destroy a god! And the artifacts are basicly parts of weapons and whole scavenger and adventures, action, trust, betrayal! Ok, I think I've gone too far...But you get the Idea?
P.S.: Sorry if I scared you for a second.

It's just an Idea, I don't think Pure will just take that Idea and not modifiy it, just giving a start, an exemple.
